This is a really interesting post particularly because I can relate to staring at words and making them come to life, too.

Nice list of goat-related songs. I remembered one: Sheep Go to Heaven, Goats Go to Hell. It’s not a made up song, though.

Here’s one funny addition: Give Goats on Christmas Day.

Found your book on a sale table at our local library last Saturday – they were thinning out their extra copies and I “got lucky.” With a full-blown cold went to bed last night…sleepless. Read the last half of Writing Class. I’m glad it wasn’t Chuck…loved how you pulled the hand and tarantula’s of Amy’s past into the final paragraphs of Edna … wonderful writing! Perfectly enjoyable reading (other than the most vulgar profanities — tolerate them for the sake of the stories). Will look for more of your works.

Goat Away Little Boy

Goats are funny. Consider including that pic with all the goats stuck in the tree. Although that wasn’t on a desert island…I think it was someplace in Africa. Because…well, goats are funny.
